Recently, when I copy and paste an error message to the search box in Firefox and the first word contains a ':', such as when searching for this error message - "MESA-LOADER: failed to open dri: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gbm/dri_gbm.so: cannot open shared object file" - I get the "Open the mesa-loader link with System Handler?" prompt (see screenshot).

I used to be able to copy and paste such an error before into the search box and it would just work but now the browser defaults to thinking you are entering a URL. This could be because when I start typing in the search box, it immediately relocates what I'm typing to the address bar. Maybe this is the behaviour I need to disable? But how and why is it the default?

Hi,

I am on a Mac OS 15.6.1 -- 24GB of RAM. I have noticed multiple page hangs -- request to stop with AWS web console. To the point, that I have gone back to Chrome where I do NOT have these hangs. So, I suspect something has changed, but it makes the FF browser unusable. Something you should look at at. Happy to help if I can, but my time is limited.

Hello, Having some issues with two websites that don't load correctly. Can you help me with this ? It has been going on for a while withe my car brand website configuration page so I have to use Safari for that, but today it happened with my bank website. Hi. I've been using ESR115 on Windows 7 64bit for a while now, at lease since Chase.com enhanced their online banking browser requirements. But now, Nov 6th, Chase.com updated their online banking site, yet again. ESR115 no longer works. Just thought I'd let you guys know in case an update to ESR115 is needed.

I tried to update to a newer ESR version but nothing is available. I'll probably have to buy a new PC since this mobo doesn't have a TPM chip and I'd rather go to Win11 than to Win10. Thanks!

Trying to set up Firefox on new computer. Haven't used log-in for years. My email account is closed. So code is sent to defunct email. How can I get access to my account so I can change my email address and get Firefox synced to my new computer? Curious about opting out of banking offers with GPC. Firefox warns users against changing advanced settings if inexperienced with making these changes. Is there a better way to opt out?

I use Firefox and I like Firefox and I appreciate what you do there & at Mozilla. But one thing really irks me!

On the homepage, the icons for the various sites I frequently visit are displayed. They change from time to time, depending on how often I sign into my favorite sites.

But I get the sense this system is being manipulated in a way that doesn't serve the interest of your customers/users. Besides my email account, there is one site I go to more often than any other: the Genealogy website "Myheritage.com." Yes as often as I visit this website, its icon is never added to the display of my frequently used sites.

For some years I frequented the site Ancestry.com. But I stopped using them because Myheritage is better for my purposes (exploring Eastern Europe genealogy). Ancestry was removed from my most frequent list, but Myheritage has never been added.

Hello. I am using Linux Mint 21.3 cinnamon and Firefox 144.0.2 When I use Google maps and the yellow small pointer (cartoon) to go on a specific street, the window come black when shifting to street view. My only extension is disabled, hardware acceleration unchecked, cache cleared and cookies cleared. I have made fresh install and nothing help. Troubleshooting mode allow street view to work fine but normal mode don't work. Google chrome work good. Chromium work good. And finally, Firefox work ok on my Linux mint LMDE 6.

Any idea where to go to solve this issue?

After the last Firefox, it has blacked out all the short videos on facebook. I looked up the issue on youtube and several people are having the same issue. I followed some of the advice and unchecked a few boxes and it worked for a few times, and then went back to blacking out the videos. Tried two other browers and there is not problems. Go back to Firefox and the videos are blacked out.

Firefox has been going dormant (browser will not open), along with Task Manager and all Windows Admin Tools, whenever Windows 10 tells me it's time to update. I finally uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled, and now the browser opens, but all of my passwords and bookmarks are gone. I cannot find a "Profile" folder on my PC.

For some time now while using Firefox, I've had to reenter my password when trying to visit new tabs of the site discord.com, even when using a link that should directly take me there (or duplicating the tab.) This is unexpected behavior and on a new profile of Firefox (or in other browsers), discord remains logged in even when the site is visited in a new tab.

Now you should probably know that I use the more tools option to customize the look of my browser. I generally enable the titlebar and bookmark toolbar for personal preference. After several hours of testing and tweaking and trying to bug test the issue I've realized that there is a correlation and discord only forces me to log in again when I have either the titlebar or bookmarks toolbar enabled on the current profile.

I would really like a fix that I can either do myself or would like to see this bug addressed in the future. There's no reason that my choice to use the titlebar or bookmark bar should affect my browsing?

I can log into a random website and it goes right in then turns black and i can't see anything, i shut it down .... bring it back up and it does it again, any ideal what is happening ?

After installing the Up Grade last afternoon , I can not open WEB SITES My Bank - facebook - Amazon Prime or Ebay - I can sometimes get to Sign Page but no Key ACTION Possible . Internet works in other places I go . WHY ? CAN I RETURN to the OLD FIREFOX ? If so HOW ?

Wenn ich Seiten aufrufe (Routenplaner, Googlemaps usw. die auf meinen Standort zugreifen wird ein Standort in Mexiko angezeigt. In Google Chrome wir der korrekte Standort angezeigt.Ich brauche eure Hilfe!
